Why did you choose Trent?

Upon visiting Trent, I found it a great place with a strong sense of community.  The campus itself is beautiful and I felt that I could really see myself successful here.

How would you describe yourself? How would others describe you? What are your passions in life?

My passion in life is acquiring new skills, sharing experiences, and learning what others have to offer. I have a strong interest in group dynamics and I am excited to work with people. Others would describe me as incredibly driven and a huge energy.

Have you been involved in any clubs, groups, and/or sports at Trent? If so, which ones?

I have had the opportunity to work on the Trent University Emergency First Response Team both as a team member and in a leadership role, to work in residence life as a Student Don in both Otonabee and Gzowski Colleges, spend a year abroad in Alicante, Spain, studying Spanish, and work in several offices on campus.

What has your time at Trent meant to you? What are some of your favourite memories? What will you take with you from Trent?

My time at Trent has been packed with phenomenal and unforgettable experiences.  I will leave Trent University with so much more than I came with-- a partner I will spend the rest of my life with, friends that I couldn’t live without, a family that has grown together for the last four years (including a nephew), knowledge, and experiences that have shaped me as a person.

What are your future plans and aspirations? What do you hope to accomplish?

I will be back at Trent for the 2008-09 school year in the Bachelor of Education program where I would like the opportunity to instill a sense of respect and realistic responsibility in future generations. My slate is fairly blank at this point and I am excited to explore possibilities that come up in my future.
