President of International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (IABPA) to Deliver Public Lecture at Trent

Trent University Forensics Program to Host February 26 Event

Thursday, February 21, 2008, Peterborough

President of the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (IABPA), LeeAnn Singley, will be delivering a free, public lecture hosted by Trent University’s Forensics program on Tuesday, February 26 at 7 p.m. in Peter Gzowski College, Room 115.

During the lecture, entitled “My Career as a Forensic Scientist”, Ms. Singley will be discussing her experiences working for a number of different organizations including the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Crime Lab, the PSP Harrisburg Regional Laboratory’s Serology Section and the FBI-sponsored Scientific Working Group on Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (SWGSTAIN).

In addition to being the president of the IABPA, Ms. Singley is also chair of the Quality Assurance Subcommittee for SWGSTAIN and owner of Grayson Singley Associates, a Forensic Consulting Firm. She is also currently pursuing a Masters degree in Forensic DNA and Serology at University of Florida.
