CUPE Bargaining Agreement Ratified by Trent University Board of Governors

From the Board of Governors’ Meeting - Friday, November 30, 2007

At today’s Board of Governors’ meeting the collective agreement reached between the Local CUPE 3908 Unit 1 and Trent University was ratified. 

The agreement includes improvements to benefits, a new compensation system that brings Trent’s system in line with the models at other universities, and improvements to the ‘Right-of-First Refusal’ provision.

CUPE Local 3908 Unit 1 represents over 200 members including part time instructors, tutorial leaders, workshop leaders and markers.
