A public lecture by award-winning author Bill Waiser One of "Who's Who in Canada"

The Trent University Alumni Association and the Frost Centre for Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies invite the public to a lecture by alumnus Bill Waiser on "A Tale of Two Futures: Saskatchewan in 1905 and 2005," at Bagnani Hall, Traill College on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Bill Waiser graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1975. An award-winning author who has published over a dozen books, he was added to the “Who’s Who in Canada” list in 2011. He is perhaps best known for his book Saskatchewan: A New History. Mr. Waiser was awarded the Saskatchewan Order of Merit, appointed the A.S. Morton Research Chair in History (2010-2015), named a Distinguished University Professor and granted a D.Litt from the University of Saskatchewan.
