Vacation may be a matter of the mind for some this summer, as students
and visitors continue to score credits towards their degrees at Trent
University, where classes are beginning to fill up in Peterborough,
Oshawa and online for more summer courses than ever.
The summer months are the perfect time to take advantage of a huge
variety of fabulous topics available --not only for current Trent
students, but for transfer students visiting over the holidays from other
institutions, lifelong students interested in exploring new territory,
and students who have never set foot on a university campus.
- On the riverside in Peterborough, students can study "Gladiators: Games
of Death in the Roman Arena".
- Future scientists may study "Physiological Psychology" in Oshawa.
- Scholars from anywhere can be introduced to "Crime Scene Investigation" or twenty other subjects online.
Twelve-week terms begin on May 14, 2012 and six-week terms begin both on
May 14 and June 25, allowing options for students to keep busy and to
continue studies through the summer months, in hundreds of courses,
including more than 20 online.
New or current students, former or transfer students, and those new to
university are all eligible and welcome to apply and may browse and
choose from courses on two campuses or online. To see a full listing of
available courses offered by Trent University's world-renowned faculty
