5th Annual Trent Northern Studies Student Colloquium

Trent Northern Studies Student Colloquium

• March 12, 2015 : 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

At this event you will hear from graduate and undergraduate students from all disciplines who have come together to share and discuss their involvement in northern research. All students, faculty and those from outside the Trent community are welcome to attend.  There will be coffee, tea and refreshments served throughout the day, provided by Sticklings Bakery.  The event starts at 9am, but feel free to drop-in anytime throughout the day.  The evening event will begin at 7pm and will include the keynote address from social and ecological scientist, and filmmaker, Dr. Ian Mauro.  Dr. Mauro is an associate professor at the University of Manitoba, and community-based researcher who has experience working with communities on issues surrounding climate change and industrial development.  All are welcome.  Catering will be provided by Gary William’s Rez Q Smoke and Fire Barbecue Station.
