Trent's United Way Campaign Kicks Off with Record Breaking Barbecue

Staff, faculty and students lined up to buy lunch and support the United Way of Greater Peterborough & District at Trent’s annual United Way Campaign kick-off BBQ, raising a record-breaking $1,251. Over the next month, staff and faculty will aim to raise $70,000 for the United Way – the University’s highest campaign goal to date. Since Trent started its United Way corporate campaign in 1965, the University community has raised more than $1.6 million for local agencies.  To donate, or for more information, please visit trentu.ca/unitedway.

Special thanks to Chartwells for sponsoring the food and The Venue for providing the music at the barbecue.
