Event Description

We invite the entire community to join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of Trent University as we thank the community & citizens of Peterborough, which has so graciously been home to our school and students for the past 50 years. The Community Parade and Celebration will re-create the original parade and opening ceremonies of 1964, featuring live music and special presentations sponsored by the City of Peterborough. Stick around after the presentations and visit the Rubidge Retirement Home parking lot which will have live music, children’s activities, temporary Trent tattoos, give-away items, hot refreshments and cookies.
