Please be advised that during the power shut down on May 6, 2012 a problem was discovered, which needs to be addressed immediately.

The scheduled outage will begin on Thursday, May 17 at 10 p.m., with all power expected to be restored by 4 a.m. on Friday, May 18.

This outage will affect the entire East Bank on Symons Campus. All buildings on the West Bank and Blackburn Hall will be unaffected.

All central IT and phone services will function normally during the repairs.

Where generator power is provided (in the DNA building) network and phone service will continue uninterrupted. In other buildings, network and phones will run for a maximum of 30 minutes on battery back-up.

Safety phones on the East Bank will not function during this interruption.

Please Note: If the repair cannot be completed by approximately 4 a.m. on Friday, May 18, the power on the rest of Symons Campus will be shut down for ten minutes (with the exception of Blackburn Hall). This will allow for all of Symons Campus to be re-powered.
