Rob Marland '82 delivered an inspiring keynote address to the University Introductory Seminar Week committee, just prior to the kick-off of Intro Week.

Ben Freeman '96 returned to campus in November 2000 as a guest speaker for the Trent Christian Fellowship. He examined issues of unity in Christianity in a talk titled, "The Importance of Building a Community.

John Collinson '90 talked to Computer Science students and faculty about his personal experiences as a professional software engineer, "Software Development : A Practitioner's View".

Steve Collins '89 and Alan Martin '90 spoke to a packed Champlain College Senior Common Room audience about their experiences and "pranks" as senior writers for Frank magazine.

Ken Hoard '98 took a moment out from a very hectic day of rowing and regatta duties to be the delighted inaugural recipient of the Dan Coholan '77 Rowing Bursary. Dan made the presentation in person before dashing off to join the competition in an alumni eight.

A break in the proceedings of the Trent Board of Governors meeting was the occasion of the first-ever presentation of the Children of Alumni Scholarship, an entrance scholarship for the children of alumni. From left to right are Michael Beswick '64, (the Scholarship's founder), Seamus Murphy (the inaugural recipient), his father Dan Murphy '75 (Old Boys Rugby stalwart), Athletics Director Paul Wilson and Board Chair Gary Wolff '67."

Mike Carr '81 and his daughter Alexandra took full advantage of the Alumni family area at Head of the Trent.
