UPDATE August 28, 2018:
As announced by the Provost and on MyTrent on August 20th, the completion of the transformation of Bata library has been pushed ahead into September. As a result, the Archives will provide selected services at the temporary 225 Charlotte Street location by appointment during this periodPlease contact the Archives at archives@trentu.ca for further information or an appointment.

UPDATE August 13, 2018:
The Archives is temporarily closed and will reopen at Bata Library in late September/early October, 2018. Archival holdings and special collections are unavailable during this closure period. Upon reopening, we will respond to research and other queries as soon as possible. Please refer to this page for updates.
(Note: In 2017, the Archives was temporarily relocated to various sites to make way for a major transformation project in the Bata Library. The return to Bata will take place over the course of the closure period.)

Hours (beginning mid to late October)

As we are sometimes closed for meetings, classes, holidays, etc. during our normal hours of operation, we ask researchers to please contact the Archives (archives@trentu.ca) to make an appointment to ensure access. We are closed on statutory holidays.

Our normal Reading Room hours are as follows:
Monday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (closed at 12:30 for 1/2 hour)
Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (closed at 12:30 and 4:30 for 1/2 hour)
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (closed at 12:30 for 1/2 hour)
Thursday-Sunday: CLOSED
