Extended Hours

Note: The information on this page is subject to change during our temporary relocation, April 2017 - May 2018.
Since there is no study space in our service locations, extended hours will not be offered by the Library.

If study area availability changes during exams, it will be widely posted at the time.

In support of the student examination period, the Bata Library offers extended hours beyond our regular limited service hours.

During extended hours, library users may be required to show a valid TrentU Card in order to gain entry and/or remain in the library during extended hours. Additional uniformed security personnel will be present to ensure all library users feel safe and to provide assistance in the event of a medical or personal safety emergency.  Library users are expected to comply with Library policies and Learning Zones at all times.

Library services available during extended hours included: access to the general collections, study areas, computing facilities, and group study rooms.  Library books may still be signed out using the self-checkout kiosk at the main door.

Client Support services are unavailable during extended hours.  Please consult the Library Hours and the Bata Library Service Hours for details on limited service and extended hours.

For research assistance, please email libraryhelp@trentu.ca and a Learning and Liaison Librarian will respond to your inquiry during regular library hours.

For IT support, please review the IT Contact options.

Additional bus service is made possible with support and funding from the Trent Central Students Association (TCSA).   Students are advised to consult the bus schedule daily for information about any changes to the extended service schedule.
