Trent Students Invited to Attend a Lesson in Networking March 8

The Trent Career Centre, along with TBSA and Traill Cabinet, invite students of all disciplines to attend "Learning Over Lunch", an opportunity to learn how to master networking skills from Al Vescio, Recruiting Supervisor for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The lecture, which will cover such topics as the recruiting process, job fair, resumes, interviewing and etiquette, will be held on Wednesday, March 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon in the Scott House Junior Common Room at Traill College. Pizza will be served after the seminar.

Mr. Vescio is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from Ryerson University. He began his career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 1997 as a Management Trainee and was quickly promoted to Branch Manager within 29 months. Mr. Vescio has been with the Recruiting Department since 2001 and is currently in the role of Recruiting Supervisor. To date, he has hired nearly 200 Management Trainees across the Greater Toronto Area and has aided in the retention and development of Enterprise employees. In recognition of his work with the organization, Mr. Vescio recently earned a five year Volunteer Recognition Award at the CACEE National Conference.

The Networking Seminar is free to attend and all Trent students are welcome. Although it is not necessary to register, students are asked to do so by sending an e-mail with the subject line "Learning Over Lunch" to tbsa@trentu.ca to ensure there is enough pizza for everyone.

Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to master your networking skills, putting you on the right path to obtaining the job of your dreams!
