Trent University Mourns Sudden Death of Retired Employee Kenneth Scully

The University community was saddened to learn of the tragic death of retired caretaker Kenneth Scully. Mr. Scully died suddenly in a January 17 incident that is under investigation with the RCMP detachment in Kelowna, B.C.

Mr. Scully was well known in the Trent community as an enthusiastic staff member who retired recently with 30 years service to the University. He spoke of Trent University with great affection throughout his time here and he is fondly remembered by students, faculty and staff.

Mr. Scully is survived by his wife Betty, his three sons, and two step-daughters.

Visitation, Monday, January 24, 2pm - 4pm, and 7pm - 9pm, with the service Tuesday, January 25, at 11:00 am, at Comstock Funeral Home, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, followed by a reception at Blackburn Hall.
