University Mourns Loss of Life in Asia

The flag atop the Bata Library at Trent University will fly at half-mast this week to recognize the victims of the tsunami that struck south-east Asia. On January 8 there will be a national memorial held in Ottawa for all those lost in the tragedy. Until then, Trent's flag will remain in the half mast position.

Plans continue to be made at the University to organize a memorial service and information session for students. The University has also made plans to provide counseling to members of the University community that were affected by the tsunami disaster.

More information about the memorial service and information session will be provided.
