| Those Were the Days: Rooke Lectures Continue Dec. 2 | ||
The Rook Lecture series continues on December 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Art Gallery of Peterborough with Douglas Gibson's lecture titled "Sixties Plus: Canadian Book Publishing in the Long Decade". This year's Rooke Lecture series invites audience members to return to the sixties, the decade of Trent University's founding, with talks on the early days and the architecture of the University as well as literary and cultural landmarks of the period. The series will be highlighted by visits from old friends and former residents of Peterborough, who will help us mark Trent's fortieth anniversary throughout the year.
