Trent Express Bus to Run this Summer
The addition of the Trent Express will provide convenience, flexibility and service for those studying and working at Trent University over the summer. This first year provides a trial period, and will be evaluated based on rider participation and the revenue generated by the University through the sale of monthly bus passes. Students who wish to obtain a summer bus pass receive a discount if they make their purchase on campus at the Office of Student Affairs, and receive a further discount if they purchase monthly passes for the full summer. The Transportation Committee is pleased to announce that Peterborough Transit's Trent Express bus will continue to run this summer. In previous summers, only the George Street North and Dial-A-Bus services were available. The committee reviewed multiple scheduling and cost combinations and ultimately settled on a decision to see the service continue throughout the summer on a modified schedule.
