Kidd Lectures in anthropology

Two instalments in the Kenneth Kidd Lecture Series will be presented this month by the department of anthropology. The lectures, which begin at 3:30 p.m. in Otonabee College room 109, are scheduled for:

  • November 9 - Dr. Peter Storck, Emeritus Curator, NW Archaeology: "Looking for Early Palaeo-Indians, Examples from Ontario"
  • November 30 - Dr. L. Symonds, University of York, England: "Raiders, Traders, and Settlers: Approaches to the Viking Invasion of Britain"

This lecture series is named for the late Kenneth E. Kidd, first chair of Trent's Anthropology Department.

Lectures in this series are given by visiting guests, Trent faculty and Research Fellows, and graduate students in Anthropology. All members of Trent and the Peterborough community are welcome.
