
Undergraduate Academic Policy Committee
Terms of Reference
Undergraduate Academic Policy Committee (UAPC) is a subcommittee of Senate, making recommendations to Senate. UAPC is responsible for reviewing undergraduate academic policies. Any modifications to undergraduate academic policies must be submitted to UAPC for consideration. The modification will only apply to the submission under review unless the overarching policy is revised to reflect this change.
- To make recommendations to Senate concerning academic policies governing undergraduate programs and undergraduate students
- To review undergraduate student degree program regulations, admissions policies and requirements
- To refer academic policies that might apply to graduate students to the Graduate Studies Committee
- To direct issues for consideration as appropriate to the Academic Planning & Budget Committee
Composition
- Designate of the Provost and Vice President Academic to Chair (normally a Dean)
- 3 faculty
- University Registrar, or designate (non-voting)
- 2 students (named by TCSA and TDSA)
- Office of the Provost & Vice President Academic (secretary, non-voting)
