Lost or Stolen Cards
Lost or stolen TrentU Cards should be deactivated immediately. You are responsible for all transactions made prior to the card being deactivated.
You may deactivate your card:
- Online by logging in to MyTrent, Finances, TrentU Card, Account Tool, Deactivate Card
- In Person by visiting the TrentU Card Office in Blackburn Hall
- By Phone by calling the TrentU Card Office during regular business hours at 705-748-1011 x7431.
The cardholder is responsible for maintaining a valid ID card, which is in proper working condition. A replacement fee of $25.00* will be charged for lost, stolen or abused cards.
*All replacement fees are to be made at the TrentU Card Office, Blackburn Hall Room #104 or The Hub, Durham campus, Room 101
Online Reporting of a Lost or Stolen Card
A lost or stolen key/access card should be reported to security immediately. Please complete the online Report of Lost or Stolen Key or Access Card and submit to the Security Office. (Please Note: the online reporting form works best with Internet Explorer)
If your TrentU Card is found:
If you find your lost and deactivated card, please visit the TrentU Card Office or The Hub, Durham campus to reactivate it.
Replacing Your TrentU Card:
In order to replace your TrentU Card you need to visit the TrentU Card Office or Durham Administrative Office during regular operating hours. The funds remaining in your TrentU Card account will automatically be accessed using the new card. A $25 replacement fee applies for all replacement cards.
Please note: Once a replacement card is issued, any previously issued TrentU Cards will become inactive.
