In loving and caring memory of Cary Boucock '88, my best friend. I will always remember his intelligence, courage, sense of humour, kindness, sensitivity, hard work, love for nature, architecture, and people. Whatever successes may come my way in the future, I hope his spirit rejoices and shares them with me.

Cary Boucock graduated from Trent on 1 June 1990 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Studies. He was affiliated with Peter Robinson College. While at Trent, Cary stayed in residence in East Lodge (1988-89), and then in one of the townhouses. After Trent, Cary completed an M.A. at York University in Social and Political Thought, and a Ph.D. at Cambridge (U.K.) in Social and Political Theory.

Saima A. Shaikh '88

Cary Boucock's book was published by the University of Toronto Press in November 2000. At the time of his death, he was an Assistant Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Concordia University.
