Phishing E-mails

Dear Staff and Faculty,
 
We have received reports of an email appearing to originate from within Trent and with the following content:
 
Phishing email content from Catarina Ferreira dated Sept 30 2015 with subject IT-Service Help Desk. Signed by ITS Help Desk with further notation below with the following words: 2015 Trent University Colleges, All rights reserved
 
This email did not originate from the IT Department. Please do NOT respond to this email or CLICK the link and delete it immediately.
This is a phishing email attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames and passwords. If you have already visited the link and/or entered your information please reset your password immediately.
To reset your password, please login to MyTrent and go to the “Password Settings” tool available on the Profile Menu that is activated by clicking the silhouette or your picture (if replaced) appearing on the top left hand corner of the new MyTrent Portal.
