New Survey Tool
I am pleased to announce that the Information Technology Department is now making available a new software suite to create, distribute and analyze surveys The suite is powered by Qualtrics (www.qualtrics.com) and is made available free of charge to all Trent Faculty, Staff, and Students. Additionally, there are no limits to the number of surveys or respondents that you can have. Below are a few FAQs that will help answer your questions.
How do I access the new tool?
Using your web browser, login to the MyTrent Portal at: https://www.trentu.ca/mytrent/
The Qualtrics survey access is in the "Tools" tab under the "Reporting" section.
What should I expect to see the first time I login?
You will presented with the opportunity to update your account information. Take the time to ensure that the information is correct and change any information that you feel is incorrect. Additionally, if you are NOT a student, uncheck the “I am a Student” checkbox.
How can I learn more about the use of this platform?

What about webinar type training?
Qualtrics will be providing training on a per-request basis directly. If you prefer this type of training, you should e-mail training@qualtrics.com and should in your request state that you are from Trent University and that you were directed to receive training from Qualtrics directly in the use of the new survey tool.
What about a classroom led orientation?
If you are interested in a classroom led orientation, two events have been designated for this purpose.
