Kristina Ottosen is a master’s candidate in English M.A. (Public Texts) program at Trent. As a teaching award winner, Ms. Ottosen was celebrated for the outstanding support she provided to her students in Medieval and Renaissance Literature (ENGL 2000).
Nominators for the award praised Ms. Ottosen’s extensive knowledge of - and great passion for - English Literature, the variety of innovative teaching methods that she employs, and her willingness to incorporate student feedback into her lesson plans.
Ms. Ottosen started in the M.A. program at Trent in 2007 after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph. Her M.A. research focus is the intersection of politics, literature, and historiography surrounding the 1381 Peasants' Revolt.
