If you have been sexually assaulted
If you, or someone you know, has experienced sexual assault: You are not alone.
There is a community here to support you. Whatever you choose to do is your decision. Take care of yourself as best you can.
Here are some options for you:
Attend to your physical body:
During office hours (9:00 am – 4:00 pm): Phone or visit Health Services at 705-748-1481, Blackburn Hall 111, Trent University.
After hours: Go to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre’s emergency department and ask for the Sexual Assault On-call Nurse, 1 Hospital Dr, Peterborough. Health professionals can help you with Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) tests and with potentially preventative medicines. They can attend to any pain or injuries that may have been caused in the incident and offer other supports related to your body and your health.
Attend to your emotional needs and questions:

Attend to your safety:
In an emergency situation on campus: Phone Campus Security at 705-748-1333. You can also find a yellow Emergency pole with a call button, blue light and camera on top.
