Dimensions: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Trent University is proud to have signed the Dimensions: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Canada Charter.

The Dimensions charter recognizes that a multiplicity of perspectives, lived experiences and the overall complexity of diverse individuals foster increased research excellence, innovation and creativity within the post-secondary sector and actively encourages committed universities to take a multidimensional and intersectional approach to equity, diversity and inclusion to achieve a future research community where all can thrive.

Trent University's Endorsement of the NSERC Dimensions: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Canada Charter

Signing the Charter further strengthens Trent University Commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. The university already has a Canada Research Chairs Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan in place, and the Centre for Human Rights, Equity and Accessibility supports conversations and initiatives related to human rights, equity, diversity, and accessibility at Trent University.
