The Salamander Survey Project, involving volunteers and staff from Trent University and Fleming College, worked with private landowners to explore ecosystems on their properties and promote local understanding of salamander populations. The initiative contributed to citizen science and helped landowners learn to survey their properties properly while fostering environmental awareness.

Trent Durham GTA Summer Semester Kicks Off with Thriving Orientation Day

Student Life at Trent Durham GTA welcomed some of the over 400 new students to campus who are taking classes for the summer semester. Groups competed in the Fox Hunt, a multi-faceted activity designed for teambuilding and orienting students to the campus, learned about university expectations and supports, and found a welcoming home at Trent Durham. The students starting this summer will join the over 1000 students taking courses at Trent Durham over the summer.
