Durham Parking

Welcome to the Durham Campus

All Durham students, staff, faculty and third party are required to register for a parking permit. This permit allows you to park at the Durham Campus but does not cover parking in the Durham Overnight section (see Overnight parking image below) and at the Peterborough campuses.  One can purchase temp day permits online for Peterborough.  Please follow the directions below on how to obtain a permit:

Once you created a parking account, select the permit tab.  Then select the permit you need, reserve the permit and select the checkout tab. This will be the furthest point in the transaction. Parking Services will then complete the transaction for you within 24 business hours.  Please see image below as an example of what the final screen will look like, until the permit is processed by Parking.

Durham Overnight Parking:

To facilitate access to classes and snow removal, Overnight Parking will be restricted to a section of 40 space near the south end of the parking lot. Signs will be posted advising of the Overnight parking area.  Regular permit holders are not allowed to park in this area.
