Tuition and Fees
How much does it cost to study online?
There is no major difference between taking online and on-campus courses at Trent. Your course load determines tuition and fees – please have a look at the Tuition and Fees pages to see a complete breakdown. If you are already a Trent student and want to sign up for an online course as part of your regular load, you simply register online as you would for an on-campus course.
Online courses are billed individually for students from other institutions studying on a Letter of Permission.
Many students need some form of financial assistance in order to achieve their academic goals. To learn more about the types of financial support you may be eligible for, please visit the Tuition, Scholarships and Financial Aid website or contact the Financial Aid office at 705-748-1524.
As long as you have regular access to a computer and internet service, there are no additional costs to participate in an online course. It is recommended that you have good speakers or headphones so that you can hear your lecture videos, and a keyboard available to complete assignments. If you anticipate the need to complete an online exam with our web proctoring service, you will need access to a computer with a stable internet connection, webcam and microphone.
