“I’m pleased to announce today that the McGuinty government is committing more than $2.5 million to support two cutting-edge projects at Trent. This includes more than $1.2 million to create the state-of-the-art Microenvironment Laboratory to help us better understand how we can address the effects of ozone depletion, air pollution and deforestation. . . . Today we are also investing to expand and modernize the Worsfold Water Quality Centre at Trent which will use leading technology to help monitor the quality of our water, making it safer for Ontarians.
