Heather Edgar finished in 13th place in the Women's Sabre, meanwhile teammate Sheena McKay finished in 15th place in the Women's Sabre. Katiya Smoliy finished in 9th place in the Women's Foil. On the Men's side Dan McGin finished in 23rd place in the Men's Epee. Joe MacDonald finished in 14th place in the Men's Sabre.

X-Country season ends with Hart

Stephen Hart competed at the CIS X-Country championships this past weekend in Moncton, New Brunswick. Hart qualified for the event after placing 37th at the OUA championships on October 25. Competing in a field of 105 competitors, Hart crossed the finish line in 56th place, in a time of 34:54, for the 10km course. Eric Gillis, of St. Francis Xavier won the race in a time of 31:53.

Hart, also an accomplished Nordic Skier at Trent, is a rookie on the x-country running team and was very pleased with his results. "I ran a very good race, it was a tough course, most of the guys in the race ran about a minute slower than they did at the OUA's, I was only about 13 seconds slower, so my improvement throughout the season showed. Competing in this race was by far the greatest experience for me to date as a varsity athlete at Trent." Hart will now switch gears as he begins to train for the Nordic Ski season.
