Ryle Lectures
Intimacy vs. integrity

Thomas P. Kasulis, the author of Zen Action/Zen Person, will give the annual Ryle Lectures Feb. 9-12. His theme is A Cultural Philosophy of Relationship: Intimacy vs. Integrity.

        Kasulis is a professor of comparative studies in the humanities at Ohio State University.

        The talks take place in Champlain College lecture hall at 8 p.m.:

  • Feb. 9 Two Paradigms of Relationship: Intimacy and Integrity

  • Feb. 10 Intimacy and Integrity as Worldviews: Epistemology, Logic and Metaphysics

  • Feb. 11 The Normative Dimensions of Intimacy and Integrity: Esthetics, Ethics and Politics

  • Feb. 12 Intercultural Conflict: When Intimacy and Integrity Collide
