Bacchae Battle

Dionysus (right), played by first-year student Cosmin Neamtu, exacts revenge upon Thebes king Pentheus (left front), played by Sasha Gajic, who refuses to recognize him as a worship-worthy god in Euripides's Bacchae. Michael Green as Pentheus's messenger (left back) listens and two old men (below), Steve Kennedy as Cadmus (below, left) and George Kovacs as Teiresias prattle about the dilemma. The production by the Classics drama group continues tonight and tomorrow in Lady Eaton College Pit at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
