Otonabee College will be conducting a Leadership Lesson with one of the influential voices in Leadership and mental health, Marla Groves Pinett.
This series offers students a unique chance to interact and learn from the experiences of leaders from various fields and redefine the true essence of being a leader.
Marla has served as a mental health counsellor and medical professional with more than ten years of experience in Community Mental Health Association in Ontario. Her role as a mental health counsellor involves supporting vulnerable individuals living with concurrent disorders and experiences of marginalization. She also has a diverse experience as a Treatment Workshop group facilitator and educator.
Marla describes herself as a mother, wife, avid reader, and a craft/cuisine enthusiast. She will always be a student at heart! In this edition of Leadership Lessons, Marla will explore the thought of the "F" word which in these terms means failure and the lessons that come from it as well as the implications of self-doubt.
Join us on Monday, November 11th at 2:00 pm in the OC Commons and learn from the valuable experience and insights of our speaker.
No registration required.
See you there!
