The Future of the Workplace: 42nd Ashley Fellow Visits Symons Campus
Hamza Khan leads week-long speaker series as Trent University’s Ashley Fellow honouree
Over the course of the week, best-selling author, future of work expert, and global keynote speaker, Hamza Khan, has worked through the in-person portion of his fellowship at Trent University’s 42nd Ashley Fellow. Hosted by the Colleges at Trent, Hamza participated in workshops, luncheons, and even held an evening lecture at Catharine Parr Traill College where he spoke to the future of work - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Hamza shares that the most impactful moment of his fellowship at Trent was during an Indigenous Studies class where he was given the opportunity to sit in and participate with Trent students – something that he says gives him great hope for the future.
“If there is a solution for the future of work, which is really the future of life, it will either be originating from Trent University or will intersect with Trent University in one way or another.”
