Trent University will host future students, their friends and families at its Winter Virtual Open House this Saturday, February 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (EST), an opportunity for those planning their post-secondary pathways to explore Ontario’s #1 undergraduate university.

Trent’s Virtual Open House will highlight the University’s campuses in both Peterborough and Durham Greater Toronto Area, feature live chats and information sessions with faculty, staff and current students, and showcase video tours of spaces, places and experiences offered at both campuses, including the new residence and academic building at Trent Durham.

“We are looking forward to welcoming prospective students to our Virtual Open House,” says Kevin Whitmore, director of Recruitment and Admissions at Trent University. “Trent is known for fostering meaningful connections between students, faculty and academic leadership. At our Winter Open House, future students can take the next step in building their Trent connection through interactive sessions with our deans, faculty and current students.”

All prospective students who register for and attend the Virtual Open House are also automatically entered into a draw to win free first-year tuition.

Highlights from Trent’s Winter Virtual Open House include:

  • Interact with Trent’s academic leadership during our Q&A panel discussion with Trent’s Deans
  • Ask questions during interactive student-to-student and parent and supporters sessions
  • Sit in on academic information sessions and interact in real-time with faculty and current students in your program of interest
  • Speak with our friendly and helpful staff in Scholarships, Academic Student Supports, Residence, and more during our student services sessions
  • Picture yourself at Trent’s Peterborough and Durham GTA campuses by joining our guided virtual campus tours, featuring residences and student spaces
  • Learn about the steps to start your #TrentU Bound journey in sessions with Admissions staff
