North American Network in Aging Studies (NANAS) presents an online symposium on November 5th and 6th with the goal of continuing the scholarly conversation surrounding COVID-19 and ageism.
The schedule runs Nov. 5 from 11 am-1:30 pm and Nov. 6 from 10 am to 1:15 pm. All times are EST.
Roundtables and Panel topics include:
- Ageism and Ableism
- Literature & Age Activism and Its Implications in Pandemic Times
- Examining Digital Engagements of Older Persons during the Pandemic
- Strategies for Defusing Ageism: Analyzing Media Portrayals
