Border Killings and State Illegibility in the Kurdish Borderlands of Turkey and Iran

In the Turkish-Iranian borderlands, state violence, arbitrary killings, and the national borders themselves
have become non-trackable. These “zones of the unresolved” present a distinct mode of sovereign
power based on state illegibility that people create and challenge through techno-legal practices.
