#FacesofTrentU: Combining Unique Degrees for a Personalized Education
Coralyne Crasto, Forensic Science & Information Systems, Joint Major, B.Sc.
“Trent University was the only university in Canada where I could combine my study of Forensic Science with Information Systems or any other major, which has allowed me to create a unique educational focus. The crime scene house, wet labs and dry labs were also key factors that drew me to Trent, giving me a practical approach to my future career,” explains Coralyne Crasto, second-year Forensic Science and Information Systems student.
Coming to Trent from Kuwait, Ms. Crasto shares that “Especially if it is your first time away from home, Trent will make you more independent and self-reliant. You’ll have the opportunity to broaden your horizons by meeting new people from all over the world, facing new challenges and making use of the huge range of activities, clubs and societies campus has to offer.”
Intrigued by both law and science, Ms. Crasto hopes to attend law school, and complete both a masters and Ph.D. program in future.
