#FacesofTrentU: Program Placement Offers Business Student Professional Stepping Stone
Andrew Stranaghan, Business Administration
“My program placement introduced me to a stimulating and professional setting that wasn’t extremely intense, so it offered a good stepping stone between university and the professional world. I learned a lot, made network connections, and the information I learned both in my program and at my placement will be very broadly applicable in whatever career direction I choose to go.”
Andrew Stranaghan, a fourth-year Business student specializing in marketing, recently finished a placement as part of his internship with Peterborough County in the Facilities department. Mr. Stranaghan chose to incorporate hands-on, experiential learning as a large component of his degree through his placement, helping him to make strong connections between his academic learning and the professional world.
