Lifelong Learning at Trent University: Spring Continuing Education Courses Begin March 12
Registration now open for wide-range of classes offered March through May at Traill College in downtown Peterborough
For members of the Peterborough community looking to learn something new this spring, Continuing Education classes offered at Trent University’s Traill College offer the perfect opportunity to expand your mind.
Registration is now open for a wide-variety of Continuing Education classes, which begin March 12 and run through to May. Courses range from Arabic for Beginners, UFOs in Canada, and the Art of Playwriting.
“Traill College comes alive this spring with a great selection of classes and workshops that fit all interests and budgets. Pay a visit, take a class, and then enjoy a coffee, or a meal, in our Trend café. Make Traill your new education destination.” says Dr. Michael Eamon, director of Continuing Education at Trent University and principal of Traill College.
Offered Monday through Friday evenings 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., classes are available in a “choose-your-own-adventure” style, meaning that community members can pick-and-choose individual classes or register for a six or eight-week course series.
In addition to the spring course offerings, Continuing Education at Trent is also offering several workshops on Saturdays facilitated by members of the community. Spring workshops include Soap Making Basics and Women’s Leadership and Empowerment.
Community members can register for spring courses online or in person (with cash or cheque only) at the Traill College office in Scott House, 300 London Street. Classes are $20 each (plus HST) when registering before March 9 and $30 each (HST included) after the pre-registration date. Workshops range between $30 to $50 (plus HST) depending on length and materials.
