“Contemporary Issues in Management, a first year course in Business Administration, has taught me how to be a better leader. I’m learning how important it is to be outspoken, and to take initiative. The opportunities here at Trent allow me to push myself to learn more, and develop the skills that better me as a student and as a person.”

What makes a good leader? First-year Business Administration student Aananth Paraparan is on his way to figuring it out. Through experiences in and out of the classroom, Mr. Paraparan says Trent is encouraging his interests and helping him develop the skills in communication, engagement and organization he’ll need to lead and succeed after convocation.

Trent University prides itself on providing an outstanding personal and interactive learning environment. This story is part of the #FacesofTrentU series, which highlights our many student success stories and the numerous dynamic programs offered at Trent.
