The Trent University Library is pleased to offer Trent University Alumni Association members borrowing privileges at no charge, at both our Bata and Durham Branch locations.
See the Alumni Membership Policy for information on:
During Bata Library's relocation, the main collection is stored in an off-site warehouse. Our online catalogue (TOPCAT) remains available for searching and browsing. Alumni who are registered for library accounts may place a HOLD on items to be retrieved from the warehouse for delivery to a Service Point on campus.
To Obtain Items:
We will respond within 1-2 business days. You will receive an automated response to your "ticket", which allows us to track it and respond to individual needs.
When the item is available for pick-up, you'll receive an email message with full instructions.
For assistance contact Client Support.
Access to our licensed online resources is restricted, based on individual agreements with suppliers.
Use Databases A-Z to find licensed resources available to Alumni.
The Library works with the Alumni Association to ensure only valid Trent Alumni are using restricted resources; the Alumni Association database is used for this purpose. When you connect to an online service, you'll be asked to login with your Trent email username and password. Information on how to obtain a new account, or reactivate your old account, can be found on the myTrent portal under the myTrentCommunity section.
Trent Alumni have the same privileges in the Archives as current Trent students.
This includes reduced photocopy charges.
