Library Services for Graduate Students

Library Services for Graduate Students

Trent University Library & Archives encourages graduate students to make use of the supports, services and spaces at the Bata Library and the Durham Campus Library & Learning Centre. Our librarians and staff are available in-person and virtually to support graduate students with their research needs.  More information can be found at the following link.

Omni - Search & Request!

Our library search & discovery tool, Omni, finds all items belonging to Trent University library. This includes books (online or physical copies), journals, articles, and maps, either on reserve or in the general collection. Omni’s filters help you to narrow down your search results to those you really want to see.

Click here for a guide on how to find library resources using Omni.

Not only does Omni find things at Trent, but you can also search and request items from other libraries.  When placing your request you can choose where you want to pick up the material: at the Library Service Desk either at Bata Library or in Durham or at any other participating Ontario university. Search the catalogue from anywhere, click “Request,” and you will receive an email when the material is available for pickup.
