Library Catalogue Freeze

In preparation for the launch of our new library system on December 10, a freeze on our current system begins November 1. During the rest of November and into early December we're moving all our data into the new system. This includes collection information, patron records, circulation records, links to online material, and rules configuration.

What does this mean?

  • Purchasing of books and other materials for the library has stopped and will resume in January 2020.
  • We can't make changes to the status or locations of existing items.
  • We've implemented a work-around for handling ILL items, so these requests should proceed without delay.
  • Circulation of library material continues as normal until December 6, when we'll begin using a temporary system.
