Outlook - Configuring for Thunderbird

  1. Open Thunderbird.
  2. From the Application menu, choose Add Account…(upper right corner)

  1. Input your account information, chooseOptions

  1. Choose Account Settings

  1. Click the Account Actions button, then choose Add Mail Account…

  1. Input your account information.
  2. Click Continue.

  1. Click Manual config.

  1. Set the Incoming settings as follows:
    1. Server hostname: outlook.office365.com
    2. Port:993.
    3. SSL:SSL/TLS.
    4. Authentication:Normal password.
  2. Set the Outgoing settings as follows:
    1. Server hostname: smtp.outlook.office365.com
    2. Port:587.
    3. SSL:STARTTLS.
    4. Authentication:Normal password.
  3. Click Done.

Your outlook email account will now be configured in Thunderbird
