Starting a Local Presentation
To begin using the room for a presentation, press POWER ON on the Crestron control panel to turn on the projector. Then choose your desired input source by pressing the corresponding button such as PC, LAPTOP or DOC CAMERA. This will project the image for the selected source. Power on the lectern PC and login with your Trent username and password. Insert your USB memory stick if presenting from that device. Optionally, present from a personal laptop by connecting to the HDMI adapter cable. Press Window + P to mirror your laptop's video on the projector if it doesn't display initially. The optimal display resolution for presentation is 1280 x 800 which can be set through your desktop properties (Windows) or System Preferences (Mac). Note; Mac users will need to bring the appropriate Apple adapter to connect with the lectern HDMI cable.
If presenting from the document camera, power on the unit, position your document on the base and press DOC CAMERA on the control panel.
Switch from one input source to the other at anytime using the control panel.
To adjust volume during a local presentation, use the Volume dial on the panel as needed.
Temporarily cancel video projection by pressing Display Mute. Press again to un-mute.
AV Control Panel
