In January of 2020 Microsoft automatically enabled MyAnalytics throughout Microsoft 365 customers. This feature is designed to work something like a "fitness tracker" for your email, showing you helpful information related to your use patterns on the Microsoft 365 platform. The underlying goal of this feature is to be a wellness initiative to assist in understanding your email usage patterns more effectively.
Data displayed in My Analytics is only available to the account user and is not sharable or accessible beyond your mailbox. In addition, Microsoft conforms to strict standards for data security and privacy in accordance with an agreement in place to provide Microsoft 365 to Trent University and other Canadian higher-ed institutions. While the data displayed in My Analytics can be very personal, it is automatically generated by the platform and not shared with anyone.
