eduroam Setup - Windows
eduroam is Trent's WiFi network. It is recommended that Trent University faculty, staff and students set up and test their computers as soon as possible to use the eduroam network instead of the Trent-Guest network for better performance. Once you have connected to eduroam at your home institution (Trent) you will have wireless access to any eduroam-enabled institution in the world.
Setup using Windows - Trent Community members
- Navigate to the myTrent portal using your web browser: myTrent>Services>IT Services. Find and click on the WiFi Setup icon:

Check the box next to "Accept" and then the "Next" button, once you have reviewed Trent's Computing Code of Ethics.
Enter your full Trent email address which is your "username for the Wi-Fi network "EDUROAM""(e.g. email@example.com).
Enter and confirm your password.
Click "Finish" to complete the setup.
Once you have run the configurator to setup your WIFi you should connect automatically when returning to eduroam-enabled areas of the Trent campus. If you experience issues with Wi-Fi connections after running the configurator, please report them to firstname.lastname@example.org so they can be tracked and resolved, where possible.
