Account Monitoring and Proactive Security

Trent University has implemented a number of monitoring services and tools to detect when a user account may be compromised or being used by a third-party for a malicious purpose. In the event that your account has been flagged as being compromised, the security of your account and personal information is of the utmost importance to our team. 

As such your account may be proactively disabled if we believe it has been compromised. 

In the event your account has been compromised we will inform you by sending a message to the secondary email address you have on file with instructions on how to recover your access to your account. However, you may encounter issues accessing your account if it has been disabled.
